# Connect APEX

## Introduction

**Copin** lets you connect with **ApeX** and start **copy trading effortlessly**. Follow this step-by-step guide to integrate your ApeX account with Copin and **copy +2M top traders** in just a few clicks.

## Step 1: Create ApeX API Key

1. Go to [**ApeX Omni API management**](https://omni.apex.exchange/keyManagement)
2. **Connect your wallet** to ApeX.
3. Click **Generate API** and follow these steps:
   1. Add an **API Name**
   2. Set **IP Address Access** to **Unrestricted (Less Secure)**

> Important: The API details will only be displayed **once**! **Save your API Key, Passphrase, and Secret** for easy integration with Copin.

## Step 2: Create ApeX Omni Key

1. Click **Omni Key** and confirm the details:
   1. Your **Omni Key** has **full permissions** for trading & withdrawals.
   2. Each account has a **unique Omni Key** that **cannot be modified or removed**.
   3. **Never share** your Omni Key with anyone!
2. Once received, **save your Omni Key** for Copin integration.

### Step 3: Connect ApeX API to Copin

1. Go to [**Copin Wallet Management**](https://app.copin.io/wallet-management) and connect your wallet.
2. Select **ApeX Exchange** to start the integration.

3. **Enter your saved API Key & Omni Key** to connect.

#### 2. How to Manage Copy Trading?

* **Managing Copy Trades:** Go to [**Copy Trade Management**](https://app.copin.io/me/management)
  * **Select** the wallet used for copy trading.
  * **View stats**: Balance, total trading volume, PnL, number of copies.
  * **Manage settings** for each trader you copy. You can toggle copy trading **ON/OFF** or adjust settings via the **⋮ icon**
* **Checking Copy Trading History:** Go to [**Copy Trade History**](https://app.copin.io/me/history)**.** View full details of past copy trades, including:
  * Order timestamps
  * Position close times
  * Trader execution details

Click on any trade for **more insights**.

* **Checking Activity Logs:** Go to [**Activity Logs**](https://app.copin.io/me/activity)**.** Unlike trade history, this page shows **real-time trade execution statuses** and **errors** related to failed copy trades.
